    Our Rooftop Garden Series partners at the Richmond Arts Centre are hosting a series of four hands-on workshops for adults to make your own food and drinks in the garden.

    Dive into the diverse culture and flavour of fermented foods and drinks while learning about food sustainability. Instructed by a fermentation specialist.

    Supplies included. Ages 19+.

    About Rooftop Garden Series :
    June – September 2024

    In the months leading up to Richmond Art Gallery’s FOODWAYS exhibition this fall, we are hosting a variety of workshops and events at the Cultural Centre Rooftop Garden during the summer growing season. Events include talks on gardening tips, hands-on art workshops, and food-making workshops hosted in partnership with the Richmond Arts Centre and Richmond Garden Club.

    About the Rooftop Garden:
    Richmond’s Rooftop Garden is located on the 2nd floor of the Richmond Library/Cultural Centre, open from April – October. It features a variety of floral and food plants maintained by the Richmond Garden Club, with a long picnic table to host small group workshops or events, and a big chess game for players of all ages.
