ART FOR TEACHERS: Provincial Pro-D Day Workshop

9:30 am – 3:00 pm

This full day workshop begins with a gallery tour followed by a creativity packed day of classroom-friendly art projects inspired by our current exhibition FOODWAYS. Includes all art materials, lesson plans and light refreshments (lunch not included). $60 per person, pre-registration required.

Registration is now live on Eventbrite. Please note, Eventbrite adds an additional $5.23 processing fee so the total registration cost is $65.23 for the workshop.

Customized Pro-D Workshops

Looking for some creative inspiration for your next staff Pro-D workshop? Come to the art gallery for an energizing day packed with art projects that integrate big ideas, content, and skills development. Learn effective strategies for teaching art concepts and techniques, and practical ways to integrate visual art across the curriculum. Choose a theme or work with us to create a customized workshop for your staff.  All art materials, lesson plans, and light refreshments are included.

Past workshop themes:
Photo-based Art Projects, Developing Drawing Skills, Printmaking Techniques, BC First Nations Art and Artists, Visual Thinking Strategies, Painting in the Classroom, Mail Art and Artist Trading Cards.

Maximum 20 / Minimum 10 participants

Half Day Program: 2.5 hours, $30 per person

Full Day Program: 9:30 am – 3:00 pm, $60 per person
