Tourism Challenge 2026

April 19 - May 31, 2026

Location: Richmond Art Gallery & The Annex Gallery

The 2026 Tourism Challenge program is a seasonal opportunity for staff and volunteers actively working at Lower Mainland attractions, hotels and partner locations from April 18 – May 31, 2026.

Tourism Challenge stamp is collected at the Richmond Cultural Centre Annex front desk, after you visit Richmond Art Gallery & The Annex Gallery. You may also visit our neighbour the Richmond Museum for an additional stamp at the Richmond Cultural Centre.

BLACKOUT DATES / TIMES:
  • Saturday, April 18
  • 12:00 – 5:00 pm – Thursday, April 30
  • Early closure at 4:00 pm – Thursday, May 7
  • Monday, May 18
To receive ONE STAMP from Richmond Art Gallery, complete one of these options as part of our Tourism Challenge:

OPTION 1: Answer these 2 questions: 

  • What city is the artist collective SIDE CORE from?
  • What is the name of an artist currently exhibiting at The Annex Gallery?

OPTION 2: Make a zine.

Visit Richmond Art Gallery’s Hope Smith Art Lounge for instructions on how to make a zine.

Stamping Station:

Take your completed Challenge answers OR your zine to the front desk at the Richmond Cultural Centre ANNEX (located across the plaza, a one-minute walk from the gallery to the building with red doors).

Please note stamps are issued up to 5:30 PM on weekdays, and 4:30 PM on weekends. 

Gallery Hours

Monday – Friday: 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Saturday & Sunday: 12:00 – 5:00 PM

Please arrive 30 minutes prior to closing to receive your stamp.

How to Visit Us

Richmond Art Gallery is located within the Richmond Cultural Centre, 7700 Minoru Gate: Google Map

The Annex Gallery is located in Richmond Cultural Centre Annex, across the plaza from the Richmond Cultural Centre. 7660 Minoru Gate, Richmond, BC V6Y 1R8

The Cultural Centre is located across from Richmond City Hall and Richmond Centre Mall, approximately 15 minute walk from Brighouse Station on the Canada Line.

Free 3-hour parking is available at the Library, Cultural Centre and Arenas parking lots. Please note – weekends often have very limited parking due to large sporting events taking place next to the Cultural Centre.
