Mia Weinberg is a Vancouver-based artist specializing in site-specific public art. She applies her previous career experience as a materials technologist and production controller to her current work as a public artist, creating large beautiful installations that celebrate the cultural stories and environments where people live, work, and play. Several of her works can be seen in Richmond. Mia will share a behind-the-scenes view of her artistic process from proposal, to creative conception and construction, to unveiling.
