Multilingual Tours and Painting Demonstrations

Drop-in during the weekend of Doors Open Richmond for free Multilingual Exhibition Tours and Painting Demonstrations!

Throughout Saturday afternoon, the Gallery is hosting demonstrations of ink brush painting by local artists Jeannie Lee and Lucy Feng. Learn some basic techniques with ink and watercolour in the traditional Chinese painting style.

Docents will also be available to offer multilingual tours in Mandarin and English throughout the afternoon, to further explore the exhibition Karen Tam: With wings like clouds hung from the sky. 

Free admission. All ages welcome to attend. 

 

Doors Open Richmond is an annual event featuring unique behind-the-scenes opportunities in the community at over 40 sites across the city on Saturday, June 1 and Sunday, June 2 from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm, including museums, places of worship, green spaces, firehalls and many more.  All events are free.
