The Gallery will be open during the Richmond 2017 World Festival, offering a sneak peek of our upcoming exhibition Eternal Return that officially opens on Saturday, September 9th. The exhibit features five emerging artists: Barb Choit, Kevin Day, Lucien Durey, Alanna Ho and Anchi Lin who each selected artefacts from the Richmond Museum’s Migration Collection and developed artworks in direct dialogue with this eclectic array of historical objects.

The Richmond World Festival is the City’s signature event attracting over 35,000 people in 2016.  Expanding to two days in 2017, Friday September 1 and Saturday, September 2, this festival will celebrate the city’s cultural diversity though music, food, sport and art from around the world.

Admission is free, and there will be a variety of events throughout the Richmond Cultural Centre and Minoru Park.

Friday, September 1 : 4:00 – 10:00 pm
Saturday, September 2: 10:00 am – 5:00 pm
