The Ringing Earth is a new body of work made of welded steel and mixed materials. It is installed as a sculptural piece of music composed in three “movements”.
Entering the gallery space, one experiences the first movement: a series of organically shaped ground works. Each piece has its own subtle rhythm. The second movement has a different theme and melody. In the recapitulation, there is a sculptural reoccurrance of the original melody.
