Celebrate the summer solstice with a participatory performance event, a part of Amy-Claire Huestis’ exhibition at the Richmond Art Gallery, MOTHLIKE/silvery-blue. As the sun sets on the longest day of the year – you, the artist, dancers and a choir will become a joyful and reverent procession moving along the paths of Garry Point, acknowledging the visiting swallows and the ecological ghosts who inhabit the stɑl̓əw̓ (Fraser River) estuary.

Call for choir is open to the public through the BC Choral Federation website HERE.

Artists: BC Choral Federation Choir, Brigid Coult (choir director), Amy-Claire Huestis, Omar Zubair (composer), Rachel Harris (dance)
