As part of the Richmond Children’s Arts Festival the gallery will be offering free drop in activities throughout the day to view the exhibitions and meet one of the exhibiting artists.
Self Guided Visit at the Art Gallery

Art Gallery Exhibition Spaces
Visit The Chromophiliacs exhibition for a family friendly tour and self-guided art activity! The Art Gallery will explode with colour, featuring works by local and international artists Diyan Achjadi, Moozhan Ahmadzadegan, Maru Aponte, Sandeep Johal, Yaimel López Zaldívar, Laura Meza Orozco, Osvaldo Ramirez Castillo, Malina Sintnicolaas, Charlene Vickers, and Jan Wade.
Drop-in throughout the day to view the exhibition and create a small weaving in response to the art you see. No registration required, children must be accompanied by an adult.
Paper-making with Maru Aponte

Richmond Art Gallery Program Room
All ages are welcome to visit the Richmond Art Gallery and meet exhibiting artist, Maru Aponte. The artist will be demonstrating paper-making techniques for you to try out, with finished works to be on display in the Art Gallery Lounge for the remainder of the exhibition.
Adult participation is required for this free drop-in activity.
