Every fall, Richmond Art Gallery collaborates with Aspire Richmond to present an exhibition at the City Hall Galleria, celebrating the unique skills and talents of participants in Aspire Richmond’s Avenues Art Program. This year’s exhibition, titled Embracing Inclusion, showcases a vibrant collection of mixed-media paintings produced in 2024 that reflect the enthusiasm, dedication, and creativity of the artists involved.
Each artwork is created and inspired by the individuals supported by Aspire Richmond. Some pieces on display have taken up to two years to complete, as every artist brings a deep level of expressive passion to their projects. These works highlight the beauty found in everyday moments and spaces, inviting viewers to see the world from a fresh perspective.
The love of art within Aspire Richmond has thrived for nearly 20 years. Programs like this exhibition not only provides a platform for these artists to share their unique visions but also allows them to sell their artwork, with all profits going directly to the artists.
