Kick off Culture Days weekend with a free drop-in art-making activity for all ages.  Culture Days is a national celebration of arts and culture, with free participatory arts and culture events happening all across the country.

Inspired by the current International Mail Art Exhibition and Fundraiser, learn more about the history and current practice of Mail Art, or art that is sent through the postal system.  Gallery staff will demonstrate some basic mixed-media collage techniques for participants to develop postcard-sized artworks using a variety of materials.

All materials provided, including a list of current open call Mail Art exhibitions from all over the world that participants may apply to.

Open to all ages and creatives of all skill levels.
Children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
    Limited seating.
