On BC Family Day, we are part of the Richmond Children’s Arts Festival!

Join a family-friendly tour of two exhibitions: Codes of Silence, a group exhibition of video art, and Sunny Side Up and Other Sorrowful Stories, which features costumes, puppets and props. Tours happen throughout the day at the top of the hour.

Free drop-in. Children must be accompanied by an adult.

To ensure you have an enjoyable visit at the gallery, please note the following gallery guidelines for all our visitors:

• Strollers are welcome in most of the gallery’s spaces. Stroller parking is available behind the Gallery’s front desk.
• Backpacks and large bags are not permitted in gallery spaces.
• Please do not touch the artworks. Keep a safe distance of 1 metre (39 in.) between you and the works of art.

Creativity Classes:
The Gallery is also hosting Creativity Classes for all ages throughout the day.  Gallery art instructors will lead workshops on creating your own storybook character with 2D and 3D materials. Classes fill up quickly, so be sure to register in advance. Workshops cost $10 per participant.
