Autobiographical comics encompass straightforward memoirs and stories in which the first-person narrator is a secondary participant, even a passive observer. Comic book artist Sean Karemaker provides an illustrated talk on his work and demonstrates the process of making an autobiographical comic.  In this 2-hour workshop, learn how to use your own personal stories to create a one-page comic. All art materials provided.

Free workshop. Registration required due to limited spaces.
To register, go to the link at Event Brite.

Sean Karemaker is a working comic artist and painter exhibiting and publishing regularly in Vancouver and throughout the USA. Sean has past experience in video games, graphic design, and commercial sculptures.
