    Monthly prompt: FAMILY

Get together with friends and fellow creatives at our social Collage Club for adults—a relaxed, art-making evening where imagination and conversation meet.

This month’s prompt explores the theme of FAMILY, inspired by our current exhibition:
Manuel Axel Strain: xʷən̓iwən ce:p kʷθəθ nəw̓eyəł ((((Remember your teachings))))

Reflect on family dynamics, ancestry, siblings, chosen family, and whatever “family” means to you. We’ll provide a wide variety of paper ephemera and 3D objects to help you create your own collage or assemblage. Feel free to bring family photos or mementos—we’ll have a photocopier available so originals can be preserved.

For those who want to explore 3D collage, your host will introduce basic assemblage and diorama techniques to help you build a mixed-media collage using photos, keepsakes, and text.

Enjoy a curated musical playlist featuring “family” songs from past and present to set the mood.

As always, we’ll share the latest collage call-outs from international groups like Paris Collage Collective, Kolaj Magazine, and more—so you can connect and share your work with the global collage community.

All levels of artistic skill are welcome! Limited spaces, registration is required.
    Recommended for ages 16+

$5 per person includes all art supplies and use of our equipment.
Please note – no refunds. Funds raised go towards supporting this program.
