The Artist Salon Series returns in 2022 as both in-person and online evening sessions for visual artists to learn and share with each other. We are excited to have the RAG’s out-going curator Nan Capogna as our special guest for this session!
Curator Nan Capogna presents an illustrated talk on what goes on behind-the-scenes at the gallery to plan, develop and install an exhibition. She will share her experiences of working at the Richmond Art Gallery for the past 20 years, to provide insight into how the institution has changed over time, and how she has worked with artists. Nan will also discuss the different types of opportunities for visual artists in BC beyond the gallery walls to illustrate the various paths an artist’s career may take.
Session was hosted in person and as an online livestream. View the video recording HERE.
