Rachel Marliss

The location I chose to represent the connection between the man-made and the natural world was the Japanese garden in Garry Point Park Richmond, B.C. I have grown up in Steveston and have been to this park with friends, family, and now to grow my artistic skills in the way I interpret nature that surrounds all of us. This location just emphasizes what the overall message of this program is, so we see that nature and humans as not two separate entities, but as tools we can learn from to further understand our world.
