Originally from Ecuador, Karen Leon grew up in Richmond and is now in her second year of the Fine Arts Diploma program at Langara College. In her artworks, Leon aims to portray her Ecuadorian background through everyday experiences in tandem with her nostalgic memories of her childhood neighborhood in Richmond.
