Richmond-based artist Alex Ji’s exhibition Earth’s Elegance pays tribute to the diverse and ever-changing landscapes of Greater Vancouver. Inspired by the intricacies and complexities of nature, Ji’s work attempts to capture nature’s beauty in a way that is timeless and universal. From the snow-capped peaks of the North Shore Mountains to the rugged coastline of the Pacific, Earth’s Elegance conveys Ji’s appreciation of this majestic land that he now calls home.

Recipient of multiple painting awards in China, US, and Canada, Ji immigrated to Canada and set up studios in Richmond and West Vancouver in 2022. He holds a BFA in Painting and a MFA from Tianjin Academy of Fine Arts, and has been teaching painting since 2009.

《自然之美》是列治文藝術家紀鈞譯向大溫地區瑰麗多姿、瞬息萬變的自然景觀致敬的一場展覽。這些作品的靈感來自於大自然中或細緻入微或紛繁複雜的各色形態，它們試圖用一種永恆、普世的方式表達自然之美。 無論是北岸白雪皚皚的山峰，還是太平洋崎嶇的海岸線，它們都傳達了藝術家對他如今定居的這片廣袤土地的熱愛。

紀鈞譯曾在中國、美國和加拿大獲得多項繪畫獎項，他於2022年移民加拿大，並在列治文和西溫哥華開設了工作室。他擁有天津美術學院油畫學士和藝術碩士學位，自2009年以來一直從事美術教育工作。
