    Discover how the art of portraiture has changed and how art historical portraits influenced Peter Aspell.  This evening talk by the RAG’s Curatorial Assistant, Dr. Hilary Letwin, will cover the history of portraiture in art from the Renaissance period up until the 20th century.  A lively discussion will be encouraged afterwards!

    Dr. Hilary Letwin gained her PhD in Art History from Johns Hopkins University in 2013. She has curated a number of exhibitions, including at the Seymour Art Gallery and the Gordon Smith Gallery of Canadian Art. She has held Curatorial Fellowships at the British Museum and the Baltimore Museum of Art. She was the Assistant Editor for The Pouncy Index of Baldinucci’s Notizie, and has published most recently in Print Quarterly and Myth, Allegory and Faith: The Kirk Edward Long Collection of Mannerist Prints.
