Speaker Biography:
James Fung is a graduate of the Journalism and Communication Department at the Chinese University of Hong Kong. After his graduation in 1982, Fung worked as researcher and movie script-writer in various media and companies. He became professional journalist in 1992, first in Hong Kong then in Vancouver when he immigrated to Canada in 2009. He received Master of Arts in 2009 and was awarded Best Reporting 2014 — Chinese Language by the Jack Webster Foundation.

James Fung(冯瑞熊先生)



冯瑞熊1982年年毕业于香港中文大学新闻及传播系后,曾任职研究员和电影编剧。1992起,他成为新闻工作者,先后在香港及温哥华不同媒体及机构任职。2009年年取得香港中文大学文科硕士学位,同年移民加拿大。2014年,获加拿大Jack Webster基金会颁发最佳中文报导奖。
