The Richmond Art Gallery’s Artist Salon is a free monthly program for artists to connect, network and learn from each other.

This month, group members will share their own artistic practice in small groups for feedback, inspiration and advice. Most artists tend to work in isolation, so this session is an opportunity to meet other artists in the community and receive input on how you can move forward in your artistic pursuits.  Participants may ask for feedback on artworks or on their marketing/art business materials. Each group will focus on these questions to get the conversation started and to ensure each person receives individual feedback:

  • One thing that is currently working really well in your artistic activities.
  • One thing you need help on, are struggling with, or want to brainstorm on.
  • One resource, such as a blog, podcast, service, product that you believe other artists in the group would appreciate knowing about.

Note – each participant is responsible for using their own device (i.e. smartphone or tablet)  if they want to share images/websites with the group. RAG staff will be on hand for guidance and assistance.

Free admission. Due to limited spaces, registration required.
