Artist Bio:
Jeanne was born in Holland and, before immigrating to Canada, she lived in The Netherlands and Tunisia. After receiving training in the European art tradition in The Netherlands and France, she began painting in series, primarily working with acrylics, collage and mixed media. Jeanne has exhibited extensively throughout Europe and North America, and has recently started her own line of women’s fashions inspired by her paintings.  In addition to her painting practice, she is an instructor at Emily Carr University of Art and Design and Coal Harbour Community Centre,  and regularly curates exhibitions of her students’ artworks.
