ART FOR TEACHERS:
PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT DAY WORKSHOP
9:30am–3:00pm

Inspired by Landon Mackenzie’s exhibition Crossing Over, Why Cloud the Whites, we will experiment with different painting and collage techniques, and explore mapmaking art in a series of projects for
your classrooms that can be done individuallyor as a collaborative class project. Emphasis will be placed on developing cross-curricular ideas that can incorporate geography, community, history, current events, and language arts.

Register early as space is limited!
Maximum 20 participants
Cost - $35 per person
Includes all art materials, handouts and light refreshments (lunch not included)

Available any time of year, contact us for a customized workshop for your staff.  All our Pro-D Workshops are designed with the classroom in mind, providing you with practical advice and basic techniques to teach art to your own students! Choose your focus of the day, whether it be a specific theme, technique or art material.

Maximum 20 / Minimum 10 participants

Fee schedule 
Full day : 9:30am - 3:00pm for $35.00 per person.
Half day: 9:30am - noon or 12:30pm - 3:00pm for $25.00 per person.
           
All art materials, teacher guides, and light refreshments are included

Past themes have included:
Book-Arts, Painting Techniques, Developing Drawing Skills, Printmaking Techniques, Sculpture Ideas, Environmental Art, Artist Trading Cards, Landscapes, Portraits, and Animals.

The Richmond Art Gallery School Program Educator is also available for larger Pro-D Conferences or Workshops, please contact us for details.
