In the Centre of Obscurity

Engulf me, gentle fog
And bring upon the soothing mist
Let your vapours cradle me
Isolate me and hide me

Within your folds of grey,
I want to immerse myself
For in the centre of all obscurity
The eloquence of stillness and silence stirs

You disperse all my tension,
And replace it with tranquility
Distinction ceases in your domain
And my surroundings blend

Strokes of blue and purple,
They welcome me
I merge into the landscape
And find peace at last
