The Lonely Yet Lucky Dog Limerick
This morning the dog woke up hungry.
All his bones were gone so he became angry.
The only thing he could find,
Was a piece of cheese rind.
Oh how he wished that he wasn't so hungry.
About five hours later he went crazy,
When he dreamt about a bone-filled pastry.
His stomach kept growling,
All day he was howling.
Oh how he longed for something so tasty.
When the dog thought nothing could get better,
He came upon some seeds with a letter
"You see, these seeds are charmed,
They turn into bones when they're farmed!"
Oh what a miraculous day it is for this Gordon Setter.
