From September 2018 – April 2019, a small group of young artists will meet every Thursday from 4:00 – 6:00 pm at the Richmond Art Gallery as part of the RAG Youth Collective. Each week, collective members will learn about the gallery’s exhibitions and develop their own related art projects. In addition, members will plan and facilitate four large public art events for families.
This program is a unique opportunity to meet other youth artists and engage with your community through the arts. Program participants were selected through a juried process by submitting a written statement of why they want to be in the program.
The application process to join the Collective is now closed. However, youth may contact the gallery to see if there are any open spaces. Contact RAG Public Programs Coordinator.
Meanwhile, visit our Facebook Page to see highlights of the Youth Collective’s recent work and projects!
