ART FOR TEACHERS: Provincial Pro-D Day Workshop
Friday, October 20, 2017, 9:30am – 3:00pm
This full day workshop begins with a tour of our current exhibition, Eternal Return, followed by a creativity-packed day of classroom-friendly art projects inspired by the work of the five featured local artists. Each artist is playing with the idea of historical significance, taking objects from the Richmond Museum’s Migration collection and re-imagining them through performance, video, animation, photography, sound, and sculpture. Art lessons featuring a range of art mediums and technologies will be explored. Includes all materials, lesson plans and light refreshments (lunch not included). $45 per person, pre-registration required.
