The Artist Salon Series features art professionals leading inspirational artist talks and/or professional development for visual artists.
Guest presenter Jas Lally, Showroom Assistant at Art Rental & Sales at the Vancouver Art Gallery, will go over what to include in your CV, Artist Statement and social media platforms when applying to juried art programs. In addition, we will look at different programs for visual artists to apply for exhibitions and sales in the Lower Mainland, including Art Rental & Sales at the VAG, and Burrard Arts Foundation Residency and The Garage.
About the Presenter:
Jas Lally is the Showroom Assistant at Art Rental & Sales at the Vancouver Art Gallery where she works with local B.C. based artists. Her past positions includes Assistant Curator at the Contemporary Art Gallery in Vancouver. Lally is currently serving as President for the Board of Directors of the Contemporary Art Society of Vancouver and is Fundraising Chair for the Board of Directors of the Richmond Art Gallery Association. She received a Masters in History of Art from the University of Birmingham, UK, in the curatorial program where she was the team leader in organizing a graduate led exhibition of drawings from the National Portrait Gallery, London.
