The Richmond Arts Centre User Groups exhibition demonstrates some of the many activities taking place within the Centre’s studios: pottery, painting, printmaking, fabric arts, lapidary, silversmithing, photography, and Chinese calligraphy. These community groups meet regularly throughout the year to exchange ideas and engage in constructive discussion to further their knowledge of their media and artistic concerns. The exhibition at the Richmond Art Gallery is a rewarding opportunity for these artists to exhibit work which they have produced over the past year, and to share with the community in a public gallery space.
In 2003 the Richmond Potters Club is celebrating its 35th anniversary. This exhibition additionally offers an occasion for the celebration of the years of development these artists have pursued.
