Welcome to the Richmond Art Gallery! At the Richmond Art Gallery you will see remarkable Canadian and International art that explores ideas relevant to the world today. Our public events, activities and school art programs help you discover their meaning in real life. It's free, it's fascinating, and it's close at hand.

Our Mission is  to promote dialogue around contemporary art.  We are here to offer you ways to connect to art, your community and yourself by providing a place to look, think, create and communicate.

Why contemporary art?  Because it deals with topics drawn directly from daily life, like science, the environment, race, social issues and so on.  The Richmond Art Gallery explores ideas and trends locally, nationally and internationally and looks for ideas that are meaningful to our community.

Monday to Friday: 10am to 6pm
Open Late Thursdays to 9pm
Weekends: 10am to 5pm
