The Artist Salon Series features art professionals leading inspirational artist talks and professional development for visual artists.
Our guest presenter this month is illustrator and mural artist Priscilla Yu. Learn what it takes to be a mural artist and ask your questions about working in this medium during the live webinar.
Yu will share some of her past mural experiences and offer tips on how to get started working in this field, things to consider when planning a mural project, and how to transform your studio painting practice into working in public spaces.
About the Presenter:
Priscilla Yu is a Vancouver-based visual artist, illustrator and muralist, painting over twenty murals locally and internationally over the past few years. With a personal style involving abstracted perspective and a geometric language, she creates worlds that dwell in a strange gravity.
In response to the temporary closure of the Richmond Art Gallery due to the current global health pandemic, RAGA has launched our public programs online to encourage dialogue and connection in the era of physical distancing. Everyone is invited to join through the webinar platform Zoom. New to Zoom? Learn how to participate in a webinar here »
